DADS1299

The DADS1299/DADS1299-4 device is an 8-channel, low-noise, 24-bit, simultaneous-sampling delta-sigma(ΔΣ) analog-to-digital converters(ADCs) with a built-in programmable gain amplifier (PGA), internal reference, and onboard oscillator. The DADS1299-x incorporates all commonly-required functions for extracranial electroencephalogram (EEG) and electrocardiography (ECG) applications. With its high integration and superior performance, the DADS1299-x enables enables the creation of scalable medical instrumentation systems at significantly reduced size, power, and overall cost.

The DADS1299-x features a flexible input multiplexer for each channel, enabling independent connection to internally generated signals for testing, temperature monitoring, and lead-off detection. It supports configuration of any input channel setup to derive patient-specific bias output signals. Optional SRB pins allow routing common signals to multiple inputs for reference montage configurations. The device operates at data rates from 250 SPS to 16kSPS. Lead-off detection can be implemented internally using excitation current sink or source. Multiple DADS1299-x units can be cascaded in high-channel-count systems configured in daisy chain. The DADS1299-x is offered in a TQFP-64 package specified from
-40°C to +85°C.
