DAD9779

The DAD9779 is a dual channel, 16 bit, high dynamic range analog-to-digital converter. This converter can provide a sampling rate of up to 1GSPS; And it can generate multiple carriers up to the Nyquist frequency. This product has features optimized for direct frequency conversion transmission applications, including digital real/complex modulation and gain and offset compensation functions. The output stage of the DAC core in the product has been optimized to seamlessly interface with mainstream analog quadrature modulators. The three wire interface allows programming and readback of many internal parameters. The full range output current of the DAC core can be programmed and adjusted within the range of 10mA to 30mA.

  • ACLR for single-carrier WCDMA: 80dBc@80MHz intermediate frequency.
  • Adjustable analog output: 8.7mA-31.7mA (RL = 25Ω-50Ω).
  • Novel 2×, 4×, 8× interpolators/coarse-tuning, complex modulators can place the carrier anywhere within the DAC bandwidth.
  • The auxiliary DAC can control the external VGA and offset.
  • Multi-chip synchronous interface.
  • High-performance, low-noise phase-locked loop clock multiplier.
